Cheru Payaru Mezhkkupuratti (Green Gram Stir Fry)

Here is a simple stir fry recipe using Green Gram or Moong (Mung) Bean which is known as Cheru Payaru in Malayalam. You need to soak the Mung Bean for a few hours so that it can be cooked easily. You may Pressure Cook the Beans or cook it in an open pan. I prefer cooking it in an open pan as pressure cooking can make the beans mushy. These beans are smaller in size and hence require lesser cooking time compared to the bigger bean varieties. Go ahead and try this Cheru Payaru Mezkkuvaratti recipe.
